Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition is organized by the Qatar Tourism Authority and It is held under the patronage of Her Excellency, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums. Launched in 2007 and now in its 11th edition, Heya provides a collaborative environment where local and international designers, female entrepreneurs and fashion enthusiasts can come together. Heya is a modest fashion event that aims to strengthen Qatar's position as a major regional shopping destination and centre for fashion innovation.

Commenting on the successful launch of the 11th edition of Heya, Mashal Shahbik, Director of Tourism, Events and Festivals at Qatar Tourism Authority said: "Bringing the world's attention to Qatar, Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition caters to the growing global demand for Modest and Islamic Fashion, predicted to be worth USD 368 billion by 2021. The show 's growing success provides a high-profile platform and launch pad for established and up-and-coming local and Khaliji designers, while strengthening Qatar's reputation as an emerging hub for business and tourism."

The Spring/Summer collections from over 250 GCC and international brands from Japan, Spain, Portugal and Germany were exhibited at the 11th edition of the Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition in Qatar.
