Check Out The Modest Work Outfits We Paired From Uniqlo x Hana Tajima 's 2018 Spring/Summer Modest Collection

Uniqlo has released its 2018 spring/summer modest collection designed by modest fashion blogger and designer, Hana Tajima - a convert to Islam of Japanese-British origin. Quite a number of the pieces in this collection are made with natural fabrics like Linen, cotton and tencel. Natural fabrics are breathable and therefore are best for making modest clothing garments because the fact that the fabrics let in air means that the wearer would be cool and comfortable.

Check below for the two outfit combinations we created with four pieces from the modest collection:

MODEST OUTFIT 1:


Hana Tajima Premium long sleeve shirt in colour purple paired with Hana Tajima tencel (100% tencel, Lyocell)  wide ankle length trousers in navy.

The shirt is made from 100% premium linen. Its design features include wide sleeve cuffs, darts in the front of the shirt, a loose cut and long hem. The trousers has a flared design and a stretchy feel.


MODEST OUTFIT 2:


Hana Tajima premium long sleeve shirt in off-white paired with Hana Tajima linen rayon wide ankle length trousers in navy.  (Shell: 54% Linen, 46% Rayon/ Lining: 100% Polyester).

This shirt is the same as that of the first outfit combination but in off-white. The trousers is made of a combination of linen and rayon fabrics but it is lined with polyester. It has a wide-leg design with pockets hidden in the pleats.
